You may know Cracker Jack as “That peanut-popcorn snack you get at baseball games”, but the brand’s rich and unique history led us to an incredibly heartwarming opportunity that went beyond fastballs and grand slams. Knowing Cracker Jack’s iconic mascot pup, Bingo, was modeled after the founder’s family rescue dog, we partnered with the ASPCA for Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog month.
The question was, how do we get our baseball-loving, Cracker Jack-munchin’ fans excited for it? Cue Sarah McLachlan.
Yep, we put rescue dogs in the arms of the angels. The Los Angeles Angels. And it paid off. The campaign was a huge success across stadiums and social media alike.
In the end, every dog we highlighted was adopted.
Talk about a home run.
